Yvonne Donders is currently the Executive Director of the Amsterdam Center for International Law, as well as Professor of International Human Rights and Cultural Diversity at the University of Amsterdam. She specialises in economic, social and cultural rights, including access to and participation in culture, as well as the relation between cultural diversity and human rights. Prior to that, Dr. Donders worked as a Programme Specialist at UNESCO’s Human Rights Department. She teaches international human rights law and is the author of several articles and papers and recently contributed to the drafting of the Policy Guidelines of the Access to Culture Platform launched in the context of the European Commission’s structured dialogue with civil society. She is also member of the Dutch National Commission for UNESCO.
