Mikhail Gnedovsky

Mikhail Gnedovsky is the Director of the Cultural Policy Institute in Moscow (since 2002), an organisation that provides consultancy, research and training in cultural policy, organisation and project management. Prior to that, between 1998 and 2002 he was the Director of the Arts and Culture Programme of the Open Society Institute (Soros Foundation) in Russia. Currently he also serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the European Museum Forum. He has provided expertise to several international and national organisations, including the Council of Europe (as an expert for the Intercultural Cities project since 2008) and the Finnish Government, in the context of the Creative Compass project which aims to foster cross-border cooperation in the creative industries between Finland and Russia.
