Anke Schad has been working as a researcher at EDUCULT since 2006. Her interests are mainly concerned with cultural policy research, qualitative and quantitative research projects in arts education, institutional and organisational structures for cultural policy, arts education and policy, audience engagement and development, and culture and society. She has extensive experience in the development and management of research projects in the field of intercultural dialogue, cultural education and cultural policy. Additionally, she has completed a number of commissioned reports for the Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture including Cultural Education in Europe and co-authored Diversity and Co-operation – Cultural Education in Austria and Arts, culture and intercultural dialogue.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in European cultural history (University of Augsburg) and a Master’s degree in European cultural policy and management (University of Warwick). She gained a postgraduate certificate in empirical social research.
